China’s OnePlus that recently announced its 2019 flagship smartphones – OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 – are now receiving Android Q Beta. The smartphones were launched with OxygenOS on top of Android 9 Pie bringing new features like Zen Mode, screen recorder.

OnePlus heavily relies on user feedback to make its custom OxygenOS more user friendly and productive. And as company promised earlier to bring the latest version of Android to its newest phones, OnePlus has now rolled out Android Q Beta to the OnePlus 7 Pro.

You should keep in mind that the Android Q Beta is unfinished and is presently suitable to Android developers who want to test their apps for Android Q. Apart from unpleasant experience, the beta version has a lot of issues and we would not recommend it you want to use it as a regular phone. Before upgrading to Android Q Beta, you should know that ambient display won’t be working, you cannot send SMS when VoLTE is on and the navigation gesture will also not work.

Earlier this month, Google at its annual I/O conference announced Android Q – the tenth version of Android that comes with new navigation features, dark theme and more.

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a curved edge-to-edge design and a QHD+ AMOLED display with support for HDR10 and HDR10+, providing subtler gradients and richer details to videos to compatible videos.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and offers up to 12GB of RAM. Additionally, the smartphone also comes with UFS 3.0 storage and RAM boost which will make your smartphone work faster while loading documents, saving image from the camera, app launch times, claims OnePlus.
