Apex Legends Starts Off HoloDay Bash 2020 with a Bang, Starts 1st Dec

Apex Legends is going to start this year's holiday season on December 1st with Holo-Day Bash 2020. What is Holo-Day? It is Christmas but on Apex Legends. Both Kings Canyon and World's Edge will be getting snow from December but not Olympus. Holo-Day bash is bringing new modes and way too clean skins as well. Yes, everyone is getting skin but surprisingly this time Apex Legends is moving away from "Christmasy" cringy themed skins to more snow-themed skins.

Before we begin, if you are thinking of buying HoloDay Bash skins then the time is right now. Black Friday sale is going on in Apex from November 24th to January 4th. There is an all-new Loba skin up for grabs along with a new Revenant skin and Spitfire Legendary Skins.

Apex Legends Winter Express:

If you are new to the game then you may not know about the winter express. No worries, we'll explain. Winter Express is a game mode in Apex Legends on the World’s Edge map. In the winter express mode, players will have to fight in teams of 3 each to take control of the train as it moves around the world's edge map. Winter express is basically a multiplayer mode but you will be fighting inside a train and that too in the holiday season.



However, this year there has been a change in the winter express mode. Once your squad respawns after the round gets finished or you basically lose, the respawn will happen on your own supply ship that will be hovering over the train as it moves. What's a supply ship from King canyon doing in World's edge? It's a Christmas miracle. Once your squad respawns on the supply ship, you can jump into the train again. The squad that wins the round will remain inside the train.

A new train station is also being added for winter express. Derailment is the new station and as the name suggests it is the scene of a catastrophic accident that occurred as a cargo train traveling the opposite direction took a tricky turn at high speed. According to Mark Yampolsky, Systems Designer on Apex Legends this new station has a variety of flanking opportunities, and a unique rotation under the bridge where the train stops. This allows you to quickly change which side of the objective you’re attacking.

Apex Legends Holo-Day Rewards Track

This year, Holo-Day Bash contains a rewards track with all-new unlockables. The rewards track will be available at the same time as Winter Express, December 1 to January 4.
