Price of the 15-inch MacBook Air and colour options

The 13-inch M2 MacBook Air has seen a price drop, currently selling for Rs 1,24,900 in India, and the base model of the new 15-inch MacBook Air with 8 GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 1,34,900 and will be available starting 13 June. The laptop has four different colour possibilities, including midnight, starlight, silver, and space grey.

The laptop has a 15.3-inch liquid retina display with a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The 15-inch MacBook is reportedly twice as quick as a top-selling Windows laptop with an Intel Core i7 CPU and is similarly powered by the M2 processor as the 13-inch MacBook Air. Up to 2 TB of SSD-based storage, 8 or 10 cores of processing power, and 24 GB of shared memory are all features of the new MacBook Air. The 13-inch model's 1080p FaceTime web camera is also present.

The new 15-inch MacBook Air has a fanless design, just like the 13-inch model, and the company claims that it has a battery life of up to 18 hours. It also has a six-speaker system with support for spatial audio and can be charged via USB Type-C or the MagSafe.

15-inch MacBook Air: Features

The display measures 15.3 inches diagonally, as was already established. The 13-inch MacBook Pro screen measures 13.3 inches, compared to 13.6 inches on the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air. The diagonal measurement of the 14-inch MacBook Pro screen is 14.2. Similar to the 13-inch Air screen but different from the 13-inch Pro screen (which is just a plain old Retina), the screen is Liquid Retina. However, the brightness for all three is 500 nits. As would be expected, there are more pixels, totaling 28801864. In addition, Apple boasts that this is 25% brighter and has a resolution that is twice as high as a comparable PC laptop.

Similar to the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air, the FaceTime camera has a 1080p resolution. Comparatively speaking, the 720p camera of the MacBook Pro and the earlier M1 MacBook Air is subpar.

The larger, more recent MacBook Air has superior audio quality to the earlier, smaller model. In contrast to the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air's four speakers and force-cancelling woofers, this device boasts six speakers. The 15-inch MacBook Air should therefore have better audio.
