Tech giant Apple has slashed the prices of its older iPhone models post launching the new iPhone 11 series on September 10. The new Apple iPhone 11 will be available in India starting from September 27 in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models for a starting price of Rs 64,900. The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are priced at Rs 99,900 and Rs 109,900, respectively.
iPhone XR was launched in 2018 for Rs 76,900. The same model now costs Rs 49,900 and the 128GB variant of Apple iPhone XR is now available for Rs 54,900. The company also reduced prices for iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 3 along with iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The iPhone XS in 64GB is now available for Rs ₹81,800 down from Rs 99,900, when it was launched. The iPhone XS 256GB now costs Rs 1,03,900 after a recent drop in price. The Apple Watch Series 3 now starts from Rs 20,900 in India.

Older models including the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have also received a cut in price. The iPhone 8 in 64GB is now available for Rs 39,900 and the iPhone 8 Plus in 64GB costs Rs 49,900.
While the 32GB variant of the iPhone 7 is now available at Rs 29,900, the 128GB iPhone 7 variant now costs Rs 34,900.

According to market research firm IHS Markit | Technology, the iPhone XR was the highest shipped smartphone in the first half of 2019. The company shipped 26.9 million iPhone XR units worldwide. Apple shipped a total of 13.6 million iPhone XR in the first quarter, and 13.3 million units in the second quarter, which is twice as many iPhone XR phones during the first half than the Samsung’s Galaxy A10.
