Assassin’s Creed Franchise has made some of the best games for Ubisoft and is also one of their bestselling franchises. The has released a game from the franchise almost every year, except for skipping the year following Syndicate to release Origins and now skipping a year after the release of Odyssey. But now that we are in 2020, we can expect a new game in the franchise. From previous leaks, we already know that the new game will be set in the Viking era and will be called Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok.

The newest leaks originated from an anonymous account on 4chan, so I would advise you to take it with a grain of salt. The leak specifies that the game will be unveiled in February at the upcoming PlayStation event and will be released in September 2020. Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Just like Odyssey, players will be able to choose a male or a female Viking character who will be named Jora. The RPG elements in this game will be heavier according to the leak. The leak also suggests that there will be Ghost Recon Wildlands style 4 player co-op in Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok. Moreover, players will be able to choose classes for their characters. Many die hard fans will be relieved to hear that the hidden blade will be back, according to the leak.

The anonymous account also claims that the map will be “massive”, with all of Northern Europe. Players will also be able to organise raids on settlements and take part in large scale battles, and the world will be dynamic.

Possible Spoilers Ahead

The leak also went into specifics about the Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok story. Without going into detail, I will let you know that the user claimed we will cross paths with Ragnar, Bjorn and other of his sons. For all the details, go here.
