Asus Launches Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro in Taiwan, India Launch Soon?

Asus has finally launched its flagship devices in Taiwan. The Asus Zenfone 7 and the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro are now officially here. Both devices will come with a motorized flip camera as the rumors suggested. A similar camera design was also seen in the previous generation of zenfone. With the help of the motorized camera, Asus has made it possible for both Asus Zenfone 7 and the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro to have a notch-less display. Another good news is that both devices also have a 90Hz refresh display panel and not the 60Hz panel as the rumors were saying.

Asus Zenfone 7 Pro specifications:

The Asus Zenfone 7 Pro is the main flagship device of the two smartphones. Under the hood, the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor coupled with the Adreno 650 GPU. The display panel sports a notch-less design and is a super AMOLED display panel. This is a 6.67-inch panel with 1080 x 2400 resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for protection. Asus Zenfone 7 pro display also has a 90Hz refresh rate. There is 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage and 8GB of Ram. There is no support for MicroSD card but there is support for dual-sim cards.

The motorized camera is the main attraction of the device. Asus has used a motorized camera unit on both Asus Zenfone 7 Pro and the Asus Zenfone 7. There are three cameras in the motorized unit of the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro with dual led flash. The main camera is a 64MP lens with Optical Image Stabilization. The secondary camera is an 8MP lens with Optical Image Stabilization and 3x optical zoom. The third camera is a 12MP ultrawide unit. This motorized camera can record video up to 8K at 30FPS and 4K at 120FPS.

The fingerprint scanner is at the side of the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro. There is support for dual WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and Type-C USB port for charging. There is a 5000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging and reverse charging. The Asus Zenfone 7 Pro will run on Android 10 out of the box with Asus's ZenUI on top.

Asus Zenfone 7 Specifications:

The Asus Zenfone 7 is the other flagship that will be cheaper than the PRO. Almost everything is identical to the Asus Zenfone 7 PRO. The only differences are that the Asus Zenfone 7 will be running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 instead of 865 Plus and that there will be two variants of it. One model of the Asus Zenfone 7 will come with 128GB of storage with 6GB of Ram and the other will come with 128GB of storage and 8GB of Ram.

Asus Zenfone 7 and Asus Zenfone 7 Pro Price and Launch in India:

There is no official word if Asus will be bringing these smartphones to the Indian market but from the way the ROG Phone 3 was launched, there is a high chance of seeing these devices soon. The price of the Asus Zenfone 7 pro at launch is NT$ 27,990 which is around Rs. 70,000. While the Asus Zenfone 7 8GB Ram model is priced at around Rs. 60,000.
