Warzone Cheaters

Cheating is the biggest problem in competitive gaming and it has only grown. Even Riot’s much hyped Vanguard Anti-cheat for Valorant couldn’t escape cheaters. In fact, there were cheats for the game on the second day itself. If that is the case with Valorant, imagine the number of Warzone cheaters; the game has 50 million players now and there are bound to be a few bad apples.

A few, in this case, means tens of thousands. Infinity Ward has already identified and permanently banned 70,000 Warzone cheaters.

In a post they made on March 31st, they informed that a total of 50k cheaters had been banned. They said, “We have been enforcing account bans since Day 1 of Warzone’s release. To date, we issued more than 50,000 permabans worldwide.

“Simply put there’s no place for cheating. We recognize that there’s no single solution for combating cheaters, it’s a constant enforcement every day, 24/7. Rest assured, we’re committed to ensuring a fun and fair experience for everyone.”

And it looks like they are sticking to their word. That number has gone up by 20,000 in two weeks, with a total of 70,000 permabans. This is in about a month. By comparison though, Respawn had banned about 350k Apex Legends cheaters in a couple of days less than a month of its release.
