After being outlawed in India in 2022, Krafton's Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) made a triumphant return. Concerns over data privacy and national security led to the country's ban on the mobile survival shooter battle royale game. Since its return, the game's creator has announced a number of events and partnerships in an effort to win back its sizable player base.

Now, the company has released a new teaser to announce its collaboration with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh. Krafton posted a teaser featuring the actor on BGMI's official Instagram account. The Instagram video begins with the actor's back to the camera as he sits on a couch.

A voiceover asks Singh if they could do "gentle exercise". The actor replies "Yes, let's go". In this video, Singh appears to be wearing a jacket with the initials "R" and "S", which are also highlighted at the end of the video.

The video ends with the catchphrase "Play Pure Coming Soon". Meanwhile, the video caption reads: "No more soft workouts! A 'Boht Hard' drop is coming your way". The company has not confirmed the scope of this collaboration.

According to a report, the upcoming "Boht Hard" drop suggests that BGMI players might get new cosmetics on the popular Bollywood actress. Interested players will have to wait to learn more about this upcoming collaboration. The report says that Singh may also appear as a playable character in the game.

BGMI Next Update Release Date and Time

The next update will be the game's third major update following its successful return to the Indian region. The update is expected to be available to BGMI players across the country between 7th October and 13th October. However, the 2.8 update in the Indian edition is most likely to be released in the second week of October. It will most likely be available on Android first, followed by iOS devices.

While the current A1 Royale Pass is set to conclude on 2nd October, the current season, Cycle 4 Season 12, is set to end on 23rd October. As all important updates always arrive in the game a few days before the start of the new season, the above-mentioned timeline was estimated accordingly. The update period that lasts 2 months has also been taken into account.
