The Call of Duty franchise is seeing a revival and fans and new players are flocking back to the game. The series started losing its sheen and player base a couple of years ago with Infinite Warfare but the series’ comeback has more than made up for it. The Modern Warfare Reboot gave it a huge push and Warzone has solidified the game’s position. Now Activision is apparently acting upon the renewed interest in the game and will reportedly release a new CoD game this year titled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The title was leaked by Call of Duty leaker Okami on Twitter. They uploaded a mock image to announce the game’s title. This was also confirmed by Eurogamer which they said was “backed up by Eurogamer's own sources.”

As is evident from the title, Black Ops Cold War will be set in the 1960’s during the Cold War between the USSR and the US. We can expect the game to be set in USSR and I hope we get to see some missions in Cuba as well, as the Cuban Missile Crisis was one of the most important parts in the Cold War history.
