Call of Duty Game Lovers Still Need to Wait for Warzone Mobile Edition till Spring 2024

In 2022, Activision will release Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The game's creator also stated at the time that it will be available by 2023. Additionally, it was anticipated that the mobile game will go on sale following the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The future mobile game, however, will require more patience from CoD users.

In a new trailer from Activision, the developer confirmed that the mobile title will be released in the spring of 2024. The game developer has not yet announced the exact release date of the game. However, those interested can register the game from both iPhone and Android devices through Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Call of Duty Warzone mobile details

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is a battle royale game that brings up to 120 players on one map. The operators, weapons, locations and combat styles available in matches should be similar to the current Warzone PC game. Both the PC and mobile games also share the Battle Pass, and also have crossovers with Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0. The game won't be widely available until 2024.

However, Activision allowed some players in Australia, Chile, Norway and Sweden to test the game earlier this year.  This "limited release" version helps the developer test the game with a wider audience than its closed alpha. These tests help the developer find and fix more bugs, stress test matches and collect as much feedback as possible on various elements of the game and title.

In addition to announcing a new release date for Warzone Mobile, Activision also revealed that the game will include access to Rebirth Island from day one. The popular Resurgence state map also makes its mobile debut. According to a report by Engadget, Activision claimed that this card was "carefully and specifically built" for the game.

According to those who have already downloaded Warzone Mobile, the file size for iOS and Android is 250MB. This may sound like good news if you don't have a lot of space but early reports suggest you need to download an additional 6GB before dropping into the action.
