Solution Requirement

• Lack of unified centralized management. A customer was using a mixture of few most prominent brands products with de-centralized and cluttered management at College Campus, which was difficult to manage.

• Lack of network Stability and Performance. Coverage with not more than two students per room. Using more than 1 Gbps internet connection, students at College Campus were facing challenges with unreliable throughput, transmission delays and performance issues.

• Lack of network security. Students, guests and staff were sharing the same network at the hostels, which made it easy to access unauthorized data by the students or outsiders.

• Axilspot’s indoor wireless access point based on 802.11n standard and the throughput is up to 300Mbps suitable for service needs of College Campus's hostel rooms and offices with concurrent 30 users per access point.

• Deployed AXILSPOT ASW3 in the network, with VLAN and SSID tagging to enable different access policy and user grouping. Separate SSIDs for students, guests and staff were broadcasted at the College Campus. Different VLAN’s was tagged with separate SSIDs for better performance and security.

• Axilspot AXC series wireless controller is specially designed for enterprise-class WLAN management that delivers central management which is secure, stable and simple to manage WLAN solution through the user-friendly management interface.
