Call of Duty Mobile is going to get its Season 9 Update on August 16th as stated on the official channels of the game. However, now it seems like the Garena variant of Call of Duty Mobile has just received a massive 1.65GB update on the Google Playstore. Garena is a game publishing company based in Singapore and is known for its famous mobile battle royal game called Free Fire. Garena also publishes Call of Duty Mobile in some parts of the world. It is the same game but with the name of a different publisher. Users who are using the Garena variant of Call of Duty Mobile reported that a new update has been received by them. In most countries, the game is published by Activision and that version of Call of Duty Mobile has already been confirmed to get the Season 9 update on August 16 so the question still remains if this actually is the new Season 9 Update or another update for the countries that are using the Garena Call of Duty Mobile.

Call of Duty Mobile released the new Season 9 Conquest battle pass trailer. The trailer showcases all that is going to come in the new Call of Duty Season 9 update. If the Garena update is to be believed then the size of the update is just going to be 1.65GB which is in line with the Season updates games like PUBG Mobile also receives. In the trailer, it shows the new weapons and different weapon skins that are coming to the game. New characters include the famous Victor Reznov and Nikito who looks like he is wearing the iron man suit from the first iron man movie. The New Calling card is here along with new emotes and the new scorestreak shield turret. It seems like players who are on Garena Call of Duty Mobile had their Christmas early this year.
