Garena Free Fire has released another update for its players. This new update will remove advertisements from the game. A post on the Garena Free Fire India Facebook page revealed that the update will remove all advertisements from the game from 12 August. The reason for this move by Garena seems to be for improving in-game performance and optimizations. This is a major move by Garena Free Fire since advertisements not only hamper the user experience but also make the game more heavy and laggy. The update will also bring with it new gun mechanics to improve damage and make the battle royal experience more realistic. The post reminded players to collect their pink diamonds before 25th August and redeem it.

New gun stats coming to Free Fire

In the new Garena Free Fire update, the gunplay is going to improve massively. One of the biggest improvements is going to be increased damage. Now players will be able to deal more damage from guns or weapons that have higher penetration stats. The damage dealt will be higher on both the vests and helmets in the game. Free Fire like most battle royal games has its own unique gun mechanics and damage stats for each weapon are different. In the previous OB23 update some new weapons like AUG were added in the game and now with this new update, it looks like Free Fire is going to make the in-game gun mechanics more optimized for players.

Money Heist Comes To Garena Free Fire

The famous Netflix series Money Heist is collaborating with Garena Free Fire. In this new partnership, players will see new in-game content like new skins and emotes along with a money printing press. Just like in the web series of Money Heist where there was a printing press to print cash in the game players will see something similar. This screenshot from the game displays a money printing press. Players will get more rewards or cash from the printing press if they complete the daily missions and by collecting Money Printer Fuel from in-game. That means an item called Money Printer Fuel is going to available in the matches. Another way to improve cash printing speed is by Friend Assist. Friend assist will let players add their squad and it will increase the speed to printing.
