Oxymax 50 boosts both Indoor Air Quality and Employee Productivity

Don’t most employees spend maximum percentage of their waking hours indoors: either at their homes or work premises? So isn’t it about time that organisations gave a thought to the indoor air quality of their offices?  After all, indoor air quality has a direct impact on employee health, productivity and well-being!

Bonphul, the developer of OxyMax—the world’s second and India’s first oxygen optimizer—is upbeat about launching a product specifically targeted at offices, hotels and, in fact, any large commercial space that is fully enclosed from all sides to meet the insulation demands of air-conditioning.

Bonphul OxyMax 50, the product targeted at the heavy commercial sector, is a roof-top product that harvests oxygen from outside air and pumps it into HVAC ducts for building-wide distribution. Each unit produces 50 LPM (litres per minute) of oxygen; however, depending upon the size of the area to be serviced, as also the density of occupancy, multiple units of Bonphul OxyMax 50 can be joined together to deliver the required volume of oxygen. Furthermore, Bonphul OxyMax 50 can also be integrated with building management systems (BMS) such that facility managers get an integrated view of the indoor climate and carry out the controls from a single digital dashboard.

Good quality air—what is called Mountain Fresh—is a mixture of about 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen and 1% other gases. However, in most cities, the oxygen level in air is far lower; outdoors it would be around 18%, indoor even less. This leads to a whole host of problems: some immediate and some long-term.

In a commercial context, oxygen deficiency in indoor air leads to loss of concentration and memory, lethargy and fatigue. No wonder so many corporate professionals seek so many coffee-breaks and cigarette-breaks during the course of a day! Long-term effects of oxygen deprivation include loss of immunity and vitality.

According to Narendra Bisht COO, Bonphul Air Products, “Running OxyMax 50 for a couple of hours creates an indoor environment that leaves you feeling totally invigorated, fully charged, just the way you felt when you took-in pure air during your last vacation in the mountains.”
