How to get newly released emojis for Android Q

The latest version of android 'Android Q' which will be released later this year will contain 65 new emojis which were released by Google on World Emoji Day

Google at the World Emoji day has released over 65 new emojis that will be part of the Android Q, which will be released later this year. Among the newly released emojis is a sloth to let other people know you are having a slow morning and running late, an 'otter' for when you need to tell that the person is 'otterly' amazing.

Google has also designed 71 couples with different skin tones for a lot of different kinds of couples out there. According to Google, the Android keyboard will support 53 emojis with gender-inclusive designs. For instance, the emoji for ‘police officer’ is commonly displayed as male and ‘person getting a haircut’ is female. You can also choose between male and female presentations if you want to opt into a gender on your keyboard.

And to celebrate the upcoming Diwali, there is also a new ‘The Diya lamp’ emoji.

While these 65 new emojis will be released with Android Q later this year. But, for those who can’t wait, here’s how to use them.

If you are using one of these below-listed phones, you can access all the new emojis by enrolling in the Q Beta program. The list of phones includes ASUS ZenFone 5Z, Essential Phone, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, LG G8, Nokia 8.1, OnePlus 6T, OPPO Reno, Realme 3 Pro, Sony Xperia XZ3, Tecno Spark 3 Pro, Vivo X27, Vivo NEX S, Vivo NEX A, Xiaomi Mi 9, Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G, Google Pixel 3, Google Pixel 3 XL, Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel 2 XL, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL.
