Gionee M5 Lite smartphone with 3GB RAM launched at Rs 12,999

Gionee Smartphones announced the launch of its latest entrant in the Marathon portfolio of devices.  Building on the omnipresent strategy, the phone is going to be available at all the leading retail outlets and snapdeal in the online space. The main highlight of the device is battery. It is backed by  4000 mAh Li- Po battery, and the M5 Lite has a standby time 450 hr and a 32.7 hr of talk time.

The device is inbuilt with a smart power consumption system especially under Extreme mode; it can provide a talk time of 3 hours and standby time of upto 32 hours even if there is only 5% of power left. The M5 Lite can be charged comparatively faster and is also capable of reverse charging thus double up as a power bank, thereby it can be used as a power bank to charge spare cell phones at the same time.
