Two big tech giants Google and Samsung are yet to launch their round of flagship smartphones – namely the Pixel 4 and the Galaxy Note 10. While Galaxy Note 10 will be Samsung’s second flagship of the year after it launched the Galaxy S10 in early 2019, Pixel 4 is one of the most anticipated flagship smartphones from Google. Both the devices have been leaked online, here we will look at how are these will be different from each other.

Google Pixel 4 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 10: Design

While it is not yet clear whether Google will use a combination of metal and glass design, however, the Google Pixel 4 is expected to come with the same frosted, silky finish as seen in the Pixel 3. From the Pixel 4 leaks, Google seems to take a different path when designing the phone by not using the curved edges at the back.

The Pixel 4 will be water and dust resistant and there could be an OLED display. While the Pixel 4 XL is reported to sport a 6.5-inch and the Pixel 4 would come with a 6-inch screen.

Samsung is expected to launch two models of the Galaxy Note 10 – one a standard variant and other a Pro variant. While the Galaxy Note 10 will come with a 6.28-inches 2K AMOLED screen, the Galaxy Note 10 Pro will be slightly bigger at 6.75-inches. Users can also expect a hole-punch display at the front. And there will be a Qualcomm’s 3D in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. As S Pen is the most powerful feature of the Note series, expect the Note 10’s S Pen to do a lot more than the previous generation. The S Pen is expected to come in blue, turquoise, yellow and pink colors.

The Pixel 4 is expected to come with a square camera module along with an additional front camera to support faster face unlock. Google could also include ‘Project Soli’ technology in the front cameras which will allow users to navigate the screen and user interface by waving hands in front of the screen. If rolled out, this will be one of its navigation experience in a smartphone.

The Galaxy Note 10 will have a 12MP+12MP+12MP triple rear cameras, wherein one of the lenses will be an ultra-wide. The Galaxy Note 10 Pro will have a 16MP ultra-wide camera along with a ToF sensor that makes the Note 10 Pro with quad cameras.

Google Pixel 4 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 10: Processor

The Pixel 4 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run on Android Q.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 10 series will run Samsung’s own Exynos 9820 processor paired up with 12GB of RAM.
