The games industry is notorious for leaks. Many of them are deliberate to build up the hype, some of them, as in the case of Warzone, are not. GTA VI has been the subject of leaks and speculations for quite a while now.

Rockstar hasn’t confirmed anything, but the speculations for GTA VI have gained momentum is the past couple of weeks, after Rockstar teased the logo in the article’s featured image that you see. Speculations were rife whether it was from GTA VI or Bully 2. Then there was an anonymous leak by a supposed insider at Rockstar games on 4chan that read “GTA VI. March 25th.” It wasn’t very reliable, but Red Dead Redemption 2’s announcement date was leaked in a similar fashion.

The latest incident which has added fuel to the fire is that of GTA VI websites being updated 48 hours before the reveal. The update was first spotted by a user on Reddit with the help of whois. The website, gtavi.com used to earlier redirect to GTA V’s official page. But it doesn’t do that anymore and instead throws up an error.

gtavi.com does not redirect to Rockstar Games site anymore. Site updated today... from r/GTA6

Another post also speculates that something is up.

Further confirmation that something is coming! from r/GTA6

Take the leaks with a huge grain of salt. But I for one believe that we might be looking at some announcement from Rockstar soon if not necessarily GTA VI.
