Today marks one of the best games in history, The Witcher 3’s five year anniversary. And as a celebration for its successful run, the developer, CD Projekt RED is offering massive discounts across all platforms and now the standalone version of the mini game Gwent is now available on Steam.
For those of you who haven’t played the game, you might recognize the game as being the reason for Geralt’s gambling addiction, so much so that he would rather play Gwent than save Ciri. CDPR released the standalone version after this minigame was as well received as the original game. Earlier it was only available on GOG, CDPR’s official storefront. Later, it came to Playstore and iOS and as of today, it is available on Steam.
What’s more is that you will be able to carry any progress from your mobile device or GOG to your steam version of the game, which is free to play.
As for discounts, The Witcher 3 is now on sale across all platforms like I mentioned earlier. The game is also now available on Epic Games store with GOTY edition available for 70% off.
