After 14 years, Halo 2 will finally be getting a full release on PC (that is if you don’t count the Windows Vista exclusive port). The release will be a part of the Master Chief Collection.
As part of these re-releases on PC, Microsoft has remastered the Halo games and updated the graphics for PC. The games are included are Halo: Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 4. Most of these games will see a PC release for the first time and will be gradually rolled out. Even though you can buy the whole collection, you will only be able to play games as they release. But at Rs 899 it's more than worth it.
For now, Halo: Reach and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary have been unlocked, and Halo 2 is coming to PC on 8:30 AM IST on May 13th. The Halo 2: Anniversary for PC will be able to support 4K UHD at more than 60 fps and customizable mouse and keyboard support, ultrawide support, FOV customization, and more.
Hey Jody! Due to current bandwidth concerns across the globe, we will be releasing Halo 2: Anniversary during off-peak hours. Our current schedule has its release timing set for 8pm PT on May 12. Here's a helpful link: https://t.co/FrjZr1ZY8b

Halo 2 received widespread critical acclaim and commercial success upon its release and is the best selling first gen Xbox game. It is also considered the best game in the series, though its campaign has received criticism for being short.
