It has a very compact and rugged look with all the controls on the top. We liked the soft touch matte finish of the body. Under the speaker you find a strip of plastic that pops up with a small press, and helps you place the speaker at an angle. On the back of the speaker you find two ports to connect it for charge and aux in when you are not using it with the bluetooth option. The sound quality of JAM Party is pretty loud to fill up a small room but it lacks bass and depth of sound, so we can say it's quite flat. You can play it upto 30 feet from any bluetooth-enabled device.
