Huawei’s Honor and OnePlus, both Chinese phone brands now enjoy a substantial market share in the Indian smartphone market. While OnePlus 7 is already a month old, Honor has recently launched Honor 20 Pro smartphone that comes with quad camera setup to further amplify the mobile photography experience. Honor 20 Pro vs OnePlus 7: Price and availability

The Honor 20 Pro is priced at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. The company has not yet announced the availability of Honor 20 Pro, but said will be available soon.

The OnePlus 7 costs Rs 32,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 37,999 and will be available in Red and Mirror Grey colours.

Honor 20 Pro vs OnePlus 7: Design and display

The Honor 20 Pro also comes with a 6.26-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display. The smartphone offers a 91.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio. And with a 4.5mm in-screen camera, the all-view display allows an even more enthralling visual experience without compromising on aesthetics. The fingerprint sensor on the right side of its aluminium frame has been positioned to complement the natural placement of fingers when one picks up a phone.

The OnePlus 7 features a glass sandwich design and comes with is a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED panel offering a resolution of full-HD+ resolution (1080×2340). There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Honor 20 Pro is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor and runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top. The Honor 20 Pro packs a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W Honor Super Charge support. Additionally, the Honor 20 Pro adopts a graphene cooling sheet technology, a new thermal solution that can efficiently dissipate heat and thus maintaining the optimal performance.

For gaming, the Honor 20 Pro packs a GPU Turbo 3.0 – a feature that boosts the device’s gaming capabilities by offering users an enhanced visual and tactile experience.

The OnePlus 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, which represents a significant improvement over the Snapdragon 845 found in OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6. The Snapdragon 855 SoC has four high-efficiency Kryo 485 Silver cores clocked 1.8GHz, three high-performance Kryo 485 Gold cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and one Kryo 485 Gold core clocked at 2.84GHz.

A battery of 3,700mAh powers the OnePlus 7. The smartphone is further supported by 20W Dash Charging branding.

The Honor 20 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup at the back consisting of a 48MP primary sensor with a large f/1.4 aperture lens and a large 0.5-inch sensor, a 16MP super-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 117-degree angle lens, an 8MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture that support 3x lossless optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom, and a fourth 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture for macro photography.

The OnePlus 7 sports a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). There is also a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the smartphone has a 16MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
