According to recent reports, the foldable Honor Magic Vs 2 phone is now featured on China's 3C certification website. The Honor Magic Vs, which was revealed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this year in February, is anticipated to be replaced by the foldable. The Honor Magic Vs 2's debut date has officially been disclosed by Honor.
The company has further confirmed the Honor Watch 4 Pro's availability on the same day. According to reports, the smartwatch will join the Honor Watch 4, which was unveiled in China in July and may soon be on sale in India.
Honor releasing Watch 4 Pro in China
According to a Weibo post shared by Honor, Honor Magic Vs 2 and Honor Watch 4 Pro will launch in China on October 12. The company is yet to reveal more details about the products and their global launch. We may learn more about them in the days leading up to the release.
Meanwhile, a recent Geekbench listing has listed an Honor phone with model number VER-AN00, believed to be the Magic Vs 2, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC with 16GB of RAM. In the previous listing on the 3C certification site, the phone had a similar model number of VCA-AN00. The phone is said to ship with Android 13.
Honor Magic Vs 2 Camera Features
The teaser image shared by Honor suggests that the Magic Vs 2 will have a 50MP primary camera. The phone may also have a secondary 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto camera, like the Honor Magic Vs. The company claims that the Magic Vs 2 is thinner and lighter than the previous model.
Meanwhile, the Honor Watch 4 Pro is said to offer a combination of "classic and technology" (translated from Chinese). This is related to the Watch 4 which will launch in India soon.
