How to setup custom domain for your Blogger

Are you looking for a low priced hosting for your personal blogging site? Though, options are many but what if you can get a free hosting on a trusted platform. Yes! it is possible with your Google account, you can add your personal domain in the Google’s free hosting. Let’s see how…

Step 1: Login to your blogger account and click on Settings tab to setup third party domain, and choose Basic.



Step 2: Now you will see an option under Blog Address field in publishing section i.e. Add a custom domain:

Step 3: Now, you will find a field to add your domain name. Type your domain name and click Save button. Remember that it doesn’t accept bare domains like, so you need to input a sub-domain, for example, or

Step 4: Once you are done, it will refresh the page and you will see two CNAME records, which should be created in your domain’s Zone File

Step 5: Finally, login to your account from where you have purchased the domain. Click on Manage Domain and then… All Host Records. Here you need to create two records for your domain. One A (Host) and other one CNAME.

1. In A (Host) : For your @ field you put  points to google IP , ,  

2. In CNAME: Enter the value listed under NameLabelor Host field and DestinationTarget, or Points To  which  you get from your blog as shown in step 4. Then click Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
