Govt. of Telangana to hold Indiajoy, the biggest gaming festival in India

Indiajoy is one of the biggest Gaming, Media and Entertainment festival in India, which will hold its 2nd edition in Hyderabad. This year’s Indiajoy will be hosted by the Govt. Of Telangana. It will be spread over four days from November 20th to November 23rd and will be spread over two of the biggest Venues in Hyderabad, the HICC and Hitex. There will be 9 power packed events, IGDC (India Game Developer Conference), Desi Toons, VFX Summit, InfluencerCon, Investor-Publisher Connect, Esports, OTT Pulse and the Indiajoy Music Fest which are expected to be attended more than 1000 international delegations. 

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary Government of Telangana said, “IndiaJoy festival is the window to the world to witness, engage, with the finest minds in gaming, VFX, animation industry in India. Government of Telangana is committed to make this as a global scale platform, we are pleased to say the event has become bigger, with wider global participation, including investors, publishers and gamers, who are equally excited as much as we are.  We anticipate many B2B and B2G collaboration and deals during IndiaJoy 2019.”

20th November 2019:  OTT Pulse 

The OTT Pulse being held on 20 November will have multiple panels and keynotes spread over the day which will include representation from the leading digital platforms. Taking the stage will be panellists from leading OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Viu, VOOT and ZEE5 among others. 

Bharath Laxmipati, Senior Vice President, Green Gold Animation and also OTT Pulse organiser, said, “The format of the event will focus on showcasing the leading digital platforms and their approach and tactics so far in a space that is arguably the most volatile and accessible to the audience today. With panellists that include senior media executives, artists and directors, the event will aim to capture a holistic view of the industry from the perspectives of all stakeholders of the digital industry.” 

21st November 2019: Desi Toons Animation Conclave 

IndiaJoy, India’s largest Media and Digital Entertainment Event in partnership with Green Gold Animation, will play host to the inaugural Desi Toons Animation Conclave on November 21, 2019. A first of its kind event in India, Desi Toons will bring together all the stakeholders of the animation, production, broadcasting and licensing industry.

20th & 21st November 2019: VFX Summit to Showcase Top Visual Effects Work, Inside View of Animation, VFX in Films Production 

At the IndiaJoy 2019, VFX Summit brings for the first time a hub of collective visual effects artists and studios to Hyderabad in one place to explore and discuss the industry and its merits to the national and international stages. Attendees will be able to hear from renowned local studios such as Firefly and Red Chillies to international studios such as MPC and Technicolor, VFX supervisors such as Srinivas Mohan (RRR, 2.0, Baahubali - The Beginning) and technology spearheads such as Centroid (motion capture), sharing their insights, makings and future developments within the industry and will also give the opportunity to personally approach and discuss the same. “It’s a must-attend for those in the industry and for those wishing to break into it”, said Pete Drapper, Founder Makuta and also a committee member at VFX summit.

 21st  to  23rd  November 2019 - NODWIN Gaming Esports Arena 

To quench the thirst of the gaming community, IndiaJoy will also have, Esports Arena. The idea behind the arena is to bind the different independent titles into one narrative. This year the arena will hold the longest-running esports league of India, the ESL India Premiership Fall Season Finale, the Red Bull River Runes India Finale, and the Rainbow 6: Siege – India Cup, which will also be Ubisoft’s first official Rainbow 6 tournament in the country. The premiership features an overall prize pool of 1.1 Crore INR. The winner of Red Bull River Runes will have a golden opportunity to meet the world champions of Dota 2, team OG. One can get to see the top Indian esports organizations and players in action under one roof fighting for massive prize pools. The enthusiasm in the gaming community has been elevating over the years and thus the NODWIN Gaming Esports Arena is expecting a good crowd. 

22nd & 23rd November 2019: INFLUENCERCON 2019’ for Influencers and Content Creators 

Over 500 attendees are expected at InfluencerCon to partake in 30+ speaker sessions, several keynote sessions. There will be B2B and B2C Expo Stalls as well in addition to top brands and influencer platforms.
