Mobile esports reached new heights with the PUBG Moblie Open Cup South Asia finals drawing in massive audience in New Delhi. This wasn’t only significant for the mobile esports community, but for the esports community on the whole. Two teams will represent India at the PMCO finals in Kuala Lumpur, but these two aren’t the only teams that will represent the Indian esports scene at an international level. Nawabzade, a professional Free Fire team from India, will be competing in the Free Fire World Series in Brazil.

This will be the biggest Free Fire LAN event til date and will take place in Rio de Janerio on 16th November. Even though it is relatively unknown in India, Free Fire is popular around the world. The company said that the Free Fire Pro League Brazil saw over 3 million viewers on the company’s official YouTube Channel. The Free Fire World Series will also be broadcasted on their YouTube channel, and it will be done in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Hindi, Thai, Indonesian, Arabic, Russian, and Vietnamese.

Nawabzade had last month won the Free Fire India Today League, which earned them a spot in the Free Fire World Series along with Rs 8,50,000. The Prize Pool for the World Series in Brazil is $400,000. Garena, the creators of Free Fire, has also announced earlier that Brazillian DJ Alok will be playing an exclusive set at the event.
