Intel Core Ultra processors: Acer Swift X 14 Specs, Price & Release Date Revealed

Acer has redesigned a few Swift series laptops ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, which takes place in Las Vegas from 9 January to 12 January. The Acer Swift X 14, Swift Go 14, and Swift Go 16 versions have all been updated with Intel Core Ultra processors. These chipsets were released in December 2023 and are integrated with Intel AI Boost Neural Processing Units (NPUs), which provide improved support for AI-powered features. They also include a dedicated Microsoft Copilot key. These laptops will be available for purchase in various regions worldwide in the coming months, though their launch in India has yet to be announced.

Price and availability for the Acer Swift X 14, Swift Go 14, and Swift Go 16

The Acer Swift X 14 will be priced in the United States at $1,399.99 (approximately Rs. 1,16,300), while the Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 will be priced at $749.99 (about Rs. 62,300) and $799.99 (roughly Rs. 66,500), respectively. The business has also announced that the Acer Swift X 14 and Swift Go 14 will be available in the United States, Europe, and China in February 2024. The Swift Go 16, on the other hand, will be available in the EMEA region beginning in February and in North American markets starting in March.

The Acer Swift X 14 has a 14.5-inch 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800 pixel) OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Acer Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 feature a 14-inch 2.8K (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) OLED touchscreen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 16-inch 3.2K (3,200 x 2,000 pixels) OLED touchscreen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, respectively. These monitors have a peak brightness of 500 nits and are VESA Display HDR TrueBlack 500 certified.

All three laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs, with support for up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-6400 DRAM. The Acer Swift X 14 supports up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD onboard storage, but the Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 support dual-slot 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.

The business claims that the Acer Swift X 14 and Swift Go 14 have a battery life of up to 12.5 hours, while the Swift Go 16 has a run duration of up to 10.5 hours. The Swift X 14 features two USB Type-C connections, one HDMI 2.1 port, and a MicroSD card reader slot. Meanwhile, the redesigned Swift Go models feature two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 connections, one USB-A, one HDMI 2.1 port, and a MicroSD card reader.
