iPhone 13 Features and Specifications Leaked: What Can We Expect from The Upcoming iPhone?

Launch Date and Processor

The launch date of the new iPhone 13 is leaked and anticipated to be 14 September 2021. The phones will probably go on sale on 24 September 2021. So there is not much time for the world to see the newer iPhones. Like always. Apple will be bringing the latest A15 Bionic chip in their newer iPhones.

The phones have always come with the latest and most reliable processor out there, and this won't change with this launch. Another leak about the upcoming iPhone is that it will come with a mm-wave 5G support across all the iPhones sold in the world.

Cameras and Optics

Cameras and optics have always been a forte for Apple, and there are some changes in the upcoming iPhone 13 as well. To start with, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will see a design change in the camera modules. The camera module in the iPhone 13 and 13 mini will be diagonal, as opposed to the vertical module that we have been seeing in all the dual-camera iPhones.

For iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro max, the ultrawide camera comes with better optics. The sensor shift that was seen in previous year's iPhone 12 Pro Max might be seen in iPhone 13 pro too, along with 13 pro max.

It is also rumoured that the AMOLED screen on the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max will come with a 120Hz refresh rate. This means that the consumers will finally be able to see higher refresh rate screen on iPhones.

It comes with the dynamic adjustment feature, which means that users can set the refresh rate anywhere ranging from 1 to 120 depending on the application they are using.

Battery Capacity

The load on the battery has been increased in the upcoming iPhones. The notch is smaller and the refresh rate is adjustable. Apple has made tweeks to the battery as well. The company is pushing the wireless technology, MagSafe, that was introduced last year. Apple is taking it a step ahead and introducing reverse wireless charging to the newer iPhone 13 range. The interesting thing to see would be whether it is for only the Pro models or the entire line-up.

The USB-C port will still not be seen on the iPhone 13, It comes with lightening port support. The company's argument behind this is that the lightening port option is more waterproof as compared to the USB-C.

Colours

Apple has always been coming up with new colours. Last year, the pacific blue colour grabbed a lot of attention. This year's highlight is supposed to be the Bronze colour.

Another colour, Matte Black, is also supposed to launch with the new iPhone.

Pricing

One of the highlights of the rumour is that the pricing is supposed to be the same. The iPhone 13 line-up will supposedly launch at the same price as the iPhone 12 line-up. Another interesting rumour about the upcoming line-up is about the storage. More storage can be seen on the newer iPhone top models. The Pro and the Pro Max variant might come with 1 TB storage, which will be the highest to be seen on a smartphone. The base variant will start with 128 GB.

The Name

An active debate is going on social media, and it's about the name. A percentage of people believe that the name will be iPhone 13 and some believe that the phone would be named iPhone 12S. The name is very important for a product, and it is the only thing that can have no solid leaks.
