Jio Bharat 4G phone: Specifications and Price
The JioBharat 4G features a 1.77-inch TFT display with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 0.3MP camera with LED flash and a 1000mAh battery. It comes in a sleek ash black variant and supports 23 languages to cater to the diverse needs of Indian users.
The phone has support for an external microSD card to expand the storage up to 128GB. Developed in collaboration with Karbonn, the device has dual branding with 'Bharat' on the front and the Karbonn logo on the back.
The phone comes with high-speed 4G internet connectivity and impressive specifications, all at an exceptionally low price of just Rs. 999. Jio has created cost-effective internet plans for its users starting from just Rs. 123 for 28 days.
This plan offers unlimited voice calls along with 14GB data and access to Jio apps to instantly stream movies and videos on the phone. Alternatively, users can opt for Jio's annual internet plan priced at Rs. 1234 which includes unlimited calls and a whopping 168GB of data.
For those interested in purchasing the JioBharat 4G phone, it is now available starting August 28 through Amazon's e-commerce platform. Alternatively, customers can also explore the option of buying from Reliance Digital stores. So far, the company has not revealed its availability in other retail stores.
Reliance announced Jio AirFiber Launch
Jio AirFiber will be introduced on September 19, 2023, the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, according to Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani's announcement on Monday.
Ambani said in a video message to the 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) that Jio AirFiber "uses a pan India 5G network to avoid the need of last mile fiber." We can accelerate broadband growth to 150,000 connections per day using Jio AirFiber.
Reliance Jio wants to offer 150,000 connections per day via AirFibre. According to the business, it already serves over 10 million JioFiber consumers and plans to grow the Jio network to more than 200 million subscribers.
