JioBook (2023) Laptop With 4G, up to 8 Hours Battery Life: User Friendly Laptop for Everyone

JioBook (2023), Jio's second laptop model, was released in India on Monday, 31 July. The new laptop has a plastic shell powered by a Mediatek MT 8788 octa-core CPU. The JioBook 4G is available in JioBlue with an inbuilt Jio SIM card. The low-cost laptop has dual-band Wi-Fi and an HDMI micro connector for networking. The JioBook (2023) is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that lasts up to 8 hours on a single charge.

JioBook (2023) Technical Specifications

• The JioBook (2023) includes an 11.6-inch HD (768X1,366 pixel) display and runs the Android-based JioOS operating system. The 4G JioBook (2023) laptop is polycarbonate and has a 4G SIM card. JioBook (2023)  is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT8788 chipset, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, and 64GB internal storage. A microSD card may extend the available storage up to 256GB. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC powers the JioBook from last year with an Adreno 610 GPU, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of eMMC storage.

• Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, an HDMI micro connector, and a 3.5mm headphone socket are among the connectivity options available on the JioBook (2023). The JioBook (2023) laptop includes twin stereo speakers and a 2-megapixel Web camera. JioBook (2023) is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that lasts up to eight hours on a single charge. The JioBook (2023) is also extremely light, measuring only 990 grams. The new model is much larger than the previous model, which weighed 1.2 kilograms.

JioBook (2023) pricing and availability in India

JioBook (2023) is priced at Rs. 16,499 in India. The JioBook (2023) laptop is only available in Jio Blue and may be pre-ordered through Amazon, Reliance Digital's e-commerce website, and prominent retail outlets. It will be available for purchase beginning 5 August.

The new JioBook is one of the most affordable laptops on the market, with a price tag of Rs 16,499 in India. Even the cheapest Chromebooks sold in India by HP and others cost approximately Rs 20,000. There is only one colour option, Jio Blue.

Recall that Reliance introduced its first JioBook in October of last year for Rs. 15,799

Please remember that Reliance has declared that the Reliance JioBook is a retail product from Reliance and not a Reliance Jio product. It means that, despite the "Jio" branding, the laptop will not be sold through the Jio online shop.
