Kingston Brings Next-gen A400 SSD in India

Kingston brings it next A400 solid-state drive today in India. The light drive comes with capabilities to improve the responsiveness of the existing system. It can improve the boot times, load times and transfer times compared to mechanical hard drives.

The A400 SSD is powered by a latest-gen controller for read and write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 450MB/s respectively. The drive is 10x faster than a traditional hard drive. A400 is built with Flash memory and there are no moving parts, making it less likely to fail than a mechanical hard drive. It’s also cool and quite, and its shock and vibration resistance makes it ideal for notebooks and other mobile computing devices.

The new Kingston A400 SSD is available in major e-tail and retail stores in 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities at MRPs of Rs. 5320/-, Rs. 9000/- and Rs. 16,500/- respectively.
