Lenovo is updating its famous Yoga 2-in-1 portfolio as well as its line of Slim Pro laptops, which are designed with creators in mind. The Lenovo Pro Slim 9i, a new model with mini-LED screens, the Slim Pro 7, the Slim 7i, and the Yoga 7 are among the products that were unveiled today.

Lenovo Slim Pro 9i

The brand-new Lenovo Slim Pro 9i is the most popular model. When paired with the Nvidia RTX 40-series GPUs and AI acceleration, this new Lenovo laptop for creators packs a lot of power, including the custom Lenovo X Power AI solution, which can help the system run faster and more efficiently when it comes to the thermals.

Other than that, the Slim Pro 9i's most notable feature is the brand-new 165Hz mini LED Pure Sight Pro display. Color accuracy can be as high as 100% Adobe RGB and 100% DCI-P3 on this type of display.

Other features

Small features include a new keyboard with 1.5mm dish keycaps, four microphones, an option for a 5MP webcam on the mini LED model for better video and audio calls, four noise reduction speakers, quieter fans, and a larger trackpad for better content management and overall efficiency.

The Slim Pro 9i is pressing in custom choices for the 13-th generation Intel Core i9-13905H computer processor, Intel Core i7-13705H central processor, or Intel Core i5-13505H computer processor (the Core i5 choice is just on the 14.5-inch model.)

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050, RTX 4060, and RTX 4070 graphics options are also available (though the 16-inch model uses 100W TGP and the 14.5-inch model uses 80W TGP).

DDR5X Dual Channel RAM with 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of memory and 512GB or 1TB of storage are available.

The 14.5-inch model comes with either an LCD or a Mini LED display. Both have a 3K resolution of 3072 x 1920, but the LCD version can only refresh at 120 Hz, while the Mini LED version can only refresh at 165 Hz.

Touch is not required in either case, and the LCD model has 400 nits, while the Mini LED model has 1,200 nits.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i (16-inch model) will begin at $1,799.99 and is supposed to be accessible in North America in May 2023. In other regions, it will also be known as Yoga Pro 9i. The Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, which has a 14.5-inch display and will also be available in May 2023, will start at $1,699.

Lenovo Slim Pro 7

The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 is a more affordable laptop for content creation. AMD Ryzen CPUs and an RTX 3050 or RTX 4050 GPU are included in this device. The newer AMD CPUs, a larger 73Wh battery, and a display with a crisper 3K resolution, up to 400 nits of brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate are all improvements in this generation.

Along with four microphones, it has the same updated 1.5mm key travel keyboard as the Slim Pro 9i.

The AMD Ryzen R5-7535HS, R7-7735HS, R5-7640HS, and Ryzen R7-7840HS are the CPU options available on this laptop. Additionally, you can choose between RTX 3050 or RTX 4050 models, 16GB of LPDDR5 or LPDDR5X RAM, and up to a 1TB or 512GB SSD.

A 14.5-inch 2.5K 2560 x 1600 resolution display or a 3K 3072 x 1920 resolution display are the two display options.

The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 beginnings at $1,199.99 and is supposed to be accessible in North America later in April. In other regions, it is also known as the Yoga Pro 7.

Lenovo Slim 7i

The Slim 7i, which has 13th-generation Intel CPUs and just received a modest upgrade in specs, should not be confused with the Slim Pro 7. This will also be available later in April and will start at $1,179.99. The Intel Core i7-1360P, Core i5-1340P, Core i7-1260P, or Core i5-1240P CPUs, 8GB or 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and three display options are available on this machine.

The Lenovo Yoga 7i 14-inch will likely be available in North America in April for a starting price of $849.99. The Lenovo Yoga 7 16-inch will start at $799.99, and the Lenovo Yoga 7 16-inch will start at $799.99. Both of these devices are anticipated to become available in North America beginning in May.
