LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft, is increasing its usage of generative AI. According to a corporate official, consumers will soon be able to utilize AI to swiftly produce pieces that they can share with their network as updates.
Director of Product at LinkedIn Keren Baruch said on LinkedIn that the business is "starting to test a way for members to use generative AI directly within the LinkedIn share box."
How will it function?
Users will be able to quickly write posts on LinkedIn, which can be difficult and take a lot of time, thanks to the feature. Users will be required to share a statement of at least 30 words. The main idea of the post should be stated in the opening text. The AI Chabot will then produce a draft based on that information. Before posting online, users can then review and edit.
Baruch went on to say, "Responsible AI is a foundational part of this process, so we’ll be moving carefully to test this experience before rolling it out to all of our members."
AI for creating profile summary
