Solution Requirement

The solutions required meeting the challenges of security application to quality control requirements at the plants. It additionally required perimeter safety and labour and staff protection. For example, the assembly line at the plant required indoor cameras, whereas for security and perimeter protection Axis outdoor cameras were suggested. Secondary requirements like avoiding vandalism and facial recognition and identification.

Solution Deployment

The implementation of the Axis cameras has addressed various quality control issues. The installations at the plants have prevented minor damages like scratches and dents on the car body, which can be easily detected and repaired faster. The outdoor PTZ cameras and perimeter protection solutions have helped in the prevention, detection and investigation of security and safety incident.

An efficient video monitoring system was the need of the hour, for plants as also corporate offices. M&M wanted to secure its locations and also ensure complete transparency in vehicle manufacturing cycle so that the quality was not compromised.
