Moto G54 5G Key Specifications out; will Launch on September 6 in India

On September 6, the Moto G54 5G will debut in India. It is confirmed that the phone would include a 6000mAh battery and an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. A single storage choice and two-color schemes are teased for the phone. Other significant details about the future phone were also disclosed by the firm.

It will replace the Moto G53 5G, which debuted in China in December 2022 before going on sale internationally in January 2023. The Moto G54 5G is previewed in blue and green color variants on a Flipkart webpage. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is verified to power the phone.

• The phone ships with Android 13 and confirms Android 14 updates and security updates for up to 3 years. The phone's 6.5-inch Full HD (2400 x 1080 pixels) display is equipped with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
• The rear camera system of the Moto G54 5G includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. 
• The phone supports Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound stereo speakers.
• The Moto G54 5G packs a large 6,000mAh battery, which is said to be the largest in its segment. For security reasons, a fingerprint sensor is installed on the side of the phone.
• The phone also ships with an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Other features and colors

On a now-deleted page on Moto India's official website, the company confirmed that the phone will be launched in Mint Green, Midnight and Pearl Blue color options.

The Moto G54 5G was also revealed to be equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor. The phone is also said to support USB Type-C port, dual SIM support, and 3.5mm audio jack, 5G support and NFC connectivity.

The Moto G54 5G is available in two color options and a single storage variant. The price in India is expected to be from ₹ 21,056.
