Lenovo owned Motorola Mobility has launched a new smartphone –One Action that comes under the company’s One line-up in India. Coming with a widescreen and a triple camera setup at the back, Motorola One Action wants to make a name for itself in the sub-Rs 15k segment which is dominated by Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo. Here in this Motorola One Action vs Xiaomi Mi A3 comparison, we will look at the display and specs of both these smartphones.

Motorola One Action vs Xiaomi Mi A3: Price

The Motorola One Action is priced at Rs 13,999. On the other hand, the Mi A3 is priced at Rs 12,999.

Motorola One Action vs Xiaomi Mi A3: Display

The Motorola One Action is packed in a polycarbonate body and sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) resolution IPS display. The screen on the One Action is also wider than normal phones and offers a 21:9 aspect ratio.

The Mi A3 sports a glass sandwich design and comes with a 6.08-inch Super AMOLED display. There is also a 7th generation in-screen fingerprint scanner that brings 15 per cent increase in the fingerprint detection area and is 30 per cent more accurate as compared to the previous generation. The smartphone is protected by the Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and the back. Additionally, the Mi A3 features P2i nano-coating to provide protection against accidental spills.

The One Action is armed with Samsung’s Exynos 9609 chipset with an octa-core CPU. The smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which can be further expanded up to 512GB using a micro-SD card. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and is part of Android One Programme.

The Mi A3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and runs Android One OS. The octa-core chipset is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The smartphone has a 4,030mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.

The Motorola One Action sports a triple camera setup at the back — 12MP sensor with an f/1.8, an 16MP ultra wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. The One Action also supports 4K recording with 117-degree field of view and has Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). At the front, there is a 12MP hole-punch camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone is powered by a 3,500mAh battery.

The Mi A3 features Sony’s 48MP IMX586 sensor, along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone also has ‘Steady Handheld Night Photography mode, which is also a first in the Mi A series. At the front, there is a 32MP front camera.

    Just impressed with the Motorola, Currently I’m using Moto g6 plus and I’m highly satisfied with it. Xiaomi phones are good for nothing, they work amazing for a few months but after that, they lag so much.
