The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra—which came in Viva Magenta, Glacier Blue, and Infinite Black—was the company's most expensive foldable device. Comparably, the company also launched the Moto Edge 40 Neo, which comes in Black Beauty, Soothing Sea, and Caneel Bay hues. The company, owned by Lenovo, has now unveiled the PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz hue, which is the new Pantone Color of the Year 2024.

New Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Edge 40 Neo colour options

New color options of Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Edge 40 Neo Ruben Castano, director of customer experience and design at Motorola, emphasize the importance of color in collaboration with Pantone.

Castano points out that because "technology becomes deeply integrated into the human experience, color functions as a means of expression and meaningful communication."  The Pantone Color of the Year of the Pantone Color Institute is an educational program that reflects the symbolic nature of color.

This is the 25th anniversary of the Pantone Color of the Year program. According to the company, PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz has a "comfortable and gentle nature that embodies a sense of togetherness, community and collaboration." 

Availability and Price

The company hasn't announced pricing for the phones, which have started rolling out in select markets around the world, with deliveries starting on December 12. The phones are also being teased in India, so expect an official announcement soon.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is priced at Rs 89,999 for the 8GB/256GB model in India. Moto Edge 40 Neo starts at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and Rs 25,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant.

Display: 6.55-inch FHD+ polar display with 144Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and punch-holes.

Connectivity: 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and  USB Type-C port. 

Processor: The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC paired with Mali-G610 MC3 GPU.

RAM and Storage: Up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage are associated with the chipset.

OS: The mobile phone runs on Android 13. 

Cameras: The Moto Edge 40 Neo has a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS and Quad Pixel technology, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with depth and macro modes.

There's a 32-megapixel shooter on the front. Other: The Moto Edge 40 Neo is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, and an on-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
