Johan N0tail Sundstein is perhaps the most decorated Dota 2 player in the history of the game, and one of the richest esports player in the world. In the past, his team OG has won all the Major titles in the pre DPC era. After he became captain of OG, which happened post the infamous split after his best friend and then team captain Fly and third position player S4 left the team, N0tail took OG to new heights. The team won TI8 despite being the underdogs, and then TI9, making them the only team to win the title twice. And also netting them a total of about $30 million from these two tournaments alone.

After all the feathers in his cap, he now has a blot on his career. N0tail has been banned from Twitch. The reason is not known as it hasn’t been made public yet, but fans speculate it is because of his usage of a homophobic slur. He isn’t a regular streamer, but he decided to entertain his fans by hosting a Christmas stream on Twitch with two other popular players Gorgc and SingSing.

The fans suspect that N0tail was banned for using the f word used as a slur to describe homosexual people. He reportedly used the word multiple times during the stream and also using the term ‘gay’ as a derogatory remark. This goes against Twitch’s guidelines for hateful conduct.

For how long the ban will last, it isn’t known. Usually, a streamer is banned for anywhere between 24 hours to a week in case of a first offence according to Twitch’s rules, as is the case with N0tail. After three strikes on their account, the streamer is permanently banned from Twitch. Neither OG nor N0tail have commented on the incident as of now.
