NBA to hold NBA 2k tournament with basketball stars

NBA has announced that it will be hosting an NBA 2k tournament where NBA stars will participate which will include Kevin Durant among others.

Coronavirus has put an end to all sporting activities. Almost all of the sporting events have either been cancelled or postponed across the world, including the Olympics. Now sporting bodies are looking for ways around it and giving fans to something to look forward to with video games. Just a couple of weeks ago, Premier League stars participated in a FIFA 20 charity tournament. Now NBA has announced that it will be hosting an NBA 2k tournament where NBA stars will participate.

The tournament will be televised on ESPN. Among the particpants will be Kevin Durant, Utah Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell and Demarcus Cousins amongst others. It will be a 10 day event where 16 NBA stars will compete against each other in the virtual world. The tournament’s first round will air on Friday.
