When Crysis first came out in 2007, it was the best looking and the most bleeding edge game of its time. It was the PC killer, bringing even the most decked out PCs to their knees. And looks like it is going to happen again. Something is cooking at Crytek. The official Twitter handle of the game tweeted out a cryptic tweet today.
The dormant twitter handle has tweeted after 3 years of inactivity. For now, everything is just speculation. The last Crysis game, the third in the series, released in 2013. It is not certain whether we will get Crysis 4 or a remastered version of the original game (I would put my money on a remake), but we do know that our PCs are going to be tested to their limits when it comes out. I would expect nothing less.

It would be interesting to see how a new Crysis game would run on new PCs given the fact that multi core and multi threaded CPUs have become commonplace and we now have Ray Tracing Technology. Until then, here are some memes the tweet spawned.
