Tyler ‘Ninja’ Belvins is nowadays the face of video gaming. He shot to fame streaming Fortnite on Twitch and gained celebrity status when Drake joined him for a streaming session. Since then Fortnite and Ninja have had a long and a very profitable relationship. After many feathers in his cap, Epic is now acknowledging his contribution and his stardom with a Ninja Fortnite Skin.
Ninja made the announcement in a Twitter post yesterday. “I’m just really excited about this, I’m excited to share this with you guys,” Ninja said. “If you put the time in, the effort in, anything is possible. That’s just facts.”

Ninja’s Fortnite skin will sport Ninja’s famous blue hair and a blue hoodie. Players can opt to keep the hood on or off. Putting the hood on transforms Ninja’s face into his logo, changing his eyes to blue. The complete skin will have the Ninja Outfit, Ninja's Edge Back Bling, Ninja Style Emote and Dual Katanas Pickaxe.
The Ninja Fortnite skin will be available as a part of Fortnite’s Icon Series. According to Epic, the Icon Series will bring “the artistic vision, personality, and attitude of top creators to Fortnite, building on previous collaborations with Marshmello and Major Lazer.” Epic hasn’t announced everyone, but they have let us know two more gamers who will be getting their own skins. They revealed have collaborated with Loserfruit and the TheGrefg.
The blue haired god’s blue haired skin will be available on the Epic Store on 16th January starting 7:00 PM CST to sometime until 19th January. The price of the skin has not been announced as of yet, but we can expect it to cost somewhere around 2000 V-Bucks.
As for other skins, I hope some of them surprise us.
