Nokia, a brand that faded from the minds of the Indian users has resurrected itself and has come a long way again in India, thanks to the help from HMD Global. The company showcased the Nokia 9 PureView smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2019 back in February. In India, the smartphone is slated to launch on June 6. For starters, the Nokia 9 PureView does not look boring at all. The smartphone comes with a 5.99-inch display at the front and is surrounded by rounded corners. You will miss the edge-to-edge display which has become a trend in 2019. But, the back of the phone makes up for it. The Nokia 9 PureView is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset processor, a 2 pOLED “PureDisplay” screen, integrated Qi wireless charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.

Additionally, the connectivity options on the Nokia 9 PureView include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and NFC. There is no 3.5mm audio jack.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 Pro is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Both of these smartphones can perform your daily run of apps and tasks with a breeze.

The five cameras simultaneously capture the image and fuse it together into one 12MP photo with a high dynamic range and depth of field. The phone also allows users to capture image in the uncompressed RAW DNG format.

The Nokia 9 PureView has two colour sensors and three monochromatic sensors. All the five sensors work together to collect up to 10-times the amount of light than a single colour sensor of the same type. Every image captured by the smartphone is HDR, with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12MP depth map.

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a triple camera system — 48MP primary camera, a 16MP wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. The 48MP camera sensor uses Sony IMX586 sensor.

The Nokia 9 PureView will be launched in India on June 6. At MWC, HMD Global introduced the Nokia 9 PureView for a global average retail price of $699.

The OnePlus 7 Pro costs Rs 48,999 for the 6GB/128GB storage version, the 8GB/256GB variant costs Rs 52,999 and the 12GB/256GB storage variant costs Rs 57,999.
