In India, the OnePlus 11 5G has begun receiving the OxygenOS 14 stable upgrade based on Android 14. The update improves the OnePlus handset's Aquamorphic design, anamorphic-themed ringtones, File Dock functionality, Smart Cutout, and various speed enhancements. According to an official post on the OnePlus forum, the stable Android 14 upgrade for the OnePlus 11 5G devices has begun rolling out in India. Eligible units receive the firmware upgrade CPH2447_14.0.0.201 (EX01) in the country.

The Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 features an Aquamorphic design with Fluid Cloud, which displays all current details at a glance. It now includes cross-device functionality, allowing users to check the connectivity status of devices on their accounts rapidly. OnePlus has included Aquamorphic-themed ringtones with the upgrade and updated the system notification noises.

The OnePlus 11 5G OxygenOS 14 update also includes a new File Dock that allows users to drag and drop material across apps and devices. The Content Extraction feature recognises and extracts text and images from the screen. In contrast, the Smart Cutout feature separates various subjects in a photograph from the backdrop for copying or sharing.

  • The update improves the Shelf by including more widget recommendations. It also enhances photo and video permission management, preventing apps from exploiting media access. Furthermore, general system stability has been improved. The update features a carbon tracking Always-On Display showing how taking more steps can reduce carbon emissions.
  • According to screenshots given by numerous users, the update is approximately 860MB. 5GB of free storage space is required for the download. The OxygenOS 14 upgrade is available for handsets running firmware version CPH2447_13.1.0596(EX01) or CPH2447_13.1.0595(EX01). Before beginning the upgrade procedure, OnePlus recommended that users ensure their smartphone has a charge of at least 30%.
  • The OxygenOS 14 update will be released in stages and will be available over the air to all OnePlus 11 smartphones that are compatible. Users who are interested can manually check for the update by going to Settings > System > System updates. Users should update their devices when charged and connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal.

The OnePlus 11 5G was released in India in February for Rs. 56,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage model and Rs. 61,999 for the 16GB + 256GB storage model. The OnePlus 11 5G phone has a 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ (1,440x3,216 pixel) 10-bit LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate of zero to 120Hz. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powers it and sports a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The OnePlus 11 5G phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC rapid charging capabilities.
