China’s OnePlus next flagship smartphone OnePlus 7 is expected to launch soon in India. Some of the specs of the OnePlus 7 have been recently leaked online, however a new image render shows that the OnePlus 7 will come with a pop-up camera as seen in the sister companies like the Vivo Nex, Vivo V15 Pro and in the upcoming Oppo F11 Pro.

While the working of the camera mechanism will be identical, the placement of the notch could be different on the OnePlus 7. The pop-up camera in the OnePlus 7 can be seen between extreme left and centre as compared to the Vivo V15 Pro that has on the extreme right, and in the middle on Oppo F11 Pro.

The smartphone is expected to launch along with a new OnePlus 5G device that was showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, last month. According to the media reports, the smartphone could come with a 6.5-inch Optic AMOLED display and since there will be no notch, users will be greeted a full view display.

At the back, the smartphone will have a triple camera setup aligned vertically along with an LED flash below. The company has not announced any further details about the camera specs.

There could also be an in-display fingerprint sensor and a USB Type C port and a latest Qualcomm processor thanks to the good partnership OnePlus enjoys with Qualcomm. The OnePlus 7 will be the successor to OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphone which were launched in 2018.

According to a report by Counterpoint Research, OnePlus is the most preferred brand in the sub-Rs 40,000 price segment, where consumers are constantly looking for flagship experiences without having to burn a hole in their pocket.

OnePlus also leads the satisfaction index (94 per cent) and retention rate (88 per cent) among all Android OEMs.
