OnePlus 7 Pro now available for pre-booking

OnePlus’s next flagship smartphone – OnePlus 7 Pro – is available to pre-book starting today May 3, 12 p.m. onwards. The smartphone will be launched on May 14 in Bengaluru.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with a total of three cameras at the back – a 48MP main camera, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens. This versatile camera setup on the OnePlus 7 will make the device a fine photography machine.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a quad-HD+ Super AMOLED display and a 90 Hz refresh rate as compared to 60Hz refresh rate found in most of the smartphones. The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship processor as seen in the standard variant. And thanks to the pop-up camera, there will be notch at the front.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has also announced that OnePlus 7 Pro will come with truly-wireless ear buds just like Apple’s AirPods, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds and Google’s Pixel Buds. In the same Weibo post, Lau emphasised on removing the headphone jack which will benefit the development of wireless ear buds.

‘The bullets wireless headphones that were launched with OnePlus 6, are light-weight and sturdy and offer good sound quality and go easy on your pocket,’ said Lau. The Bullets Wireless headphones were not entirely wireless as the headphones were tied to each other by a neckband.

Further, the smartphone will have 256GB of storage, a 4,000mAh battery and 44W dash charging support, but no wireless charging support yet.

The company will also announce OnePlus 7 at the same event. According to the media reports, the smartphone could come with a 6.5-inch Optic AMOLED display and since there will be no notch, users will be greeted a full view display.

Similar to OneOlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7 will have a triple camera setup aligned vertically along with an LED flash at the back.
