OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7: Here is everything we know

China’s OnePlus will globally announce the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14. The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to be superior version, on the other hand OnePlus 7 will succeed OnePlus 6T with slight upgrades. The company will livestream the launch via its YouTube channel at 8:15 p.m. onwards IST.


While the OnePlus 7 is expected to cost Rs 49,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and Rs 52,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant, the OnePlus 7 will approx. cost Rs 57,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

Features and Specifications

According to the media reports, the OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch curved quad HD+ (1440×3120 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a pop-up selfie camera and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The OnePlus will have a slightly smaller — 6.4-inch (1080×2340 pixels) flat display with a waterdrop notch. The OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with a total of three cameras at the back – a 48MP main camera, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens. This versatile camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro will make the device a fine photography machine.

Two interesting features of the OnePlus 7 Pro will be HDR10+ and will have UFS 3.0 storage.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 7 is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor with a f/1.7 aperture along with a 5MP depth sensor.

Both the smartphones are expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and will have USB Type-C port along with wireless charging support. The OnePlus 7 Pro is also expected to come with a larger 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge.

The company could also announce a new OnePlus line-up which will have 5G support and will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 modem.
