OnePlus 7T to soon get 960fps slo-mo, 4K video

OnePlus 7T will soon support recording 720p slow-motion videos at 960fps. Currently, the phone supports up to 720p slow-motion video at 480 fps.

OnePlus’s latest smartphone OnePlus 7T is reported to come with the ability to record slow-motion video at up to 960fps and will also be able to record 4K videos utilizing the wide-angle camera. While the company has confirmed the news, but when the rollout will be offered is not yet announced.

Most recent OnePlus smartphones except OnePlus 7T are able to record 480fps slow-motion video at 720p resolution, however, with the new update consumers will be able to record even slower videos. A media report has also claimed that OnePlus 7T’s hardware doesn’t support the 960fps storage, thus the phone is reported to use some kind of motion interpolation technique.

The OnePlus 7T comes two colors Glacier Blue and frosted silver. The Glacier blue variant in the 8GB+128GB version is priced at Rs 37,999, the 8GB+256GB Glacier Blue variant costs Rs 39,999 and the 8GB+128GB in frosted silver costs Rs 37,999. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup with a well-polished circular ring module. The OnePlus 7T is made from 4th generation matte-frosted glass material.

The OnePlus 7T comes with 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display and supports latest HDR10+ certification, which makes is not just smooth to touch and navigate, but also vivid in its display ability and incredibly immersive. The display offers brightness of up to 1,000 nits and is TÜV Rheinland ‘Eye Comfort’ certified display.

The OnePlus 7T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. The smartphone comes with 3,800mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T support, which according to OnePlus offers 23 times faster performance as compared to its predecessor – Warp Charge 30.
