OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Camera Specifications Released, Launching Today in China

Today in China, OnePlus will officially introduce the Ace 2 Pro, and they have already provided a sneak preview of some of the important technical details. Before the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro's formal launch on August 16th, new teasers have now revealed the phone's camera and Wi-Fi capabilities.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro camera specifications

OnePlus has officially revealed via Weibo that the phone will feature a Sony IMX 890 sensor with OIS technology (seen on the Nothing Phone (2), OnePlus 11R and OPPO Reno 10 Pro, among others).

In addition, the upcoming phone will adopt OPPO's cutting-edge image algorithm to improve the camera's capabilities, and will also support  the company's ProXDR photo matrix technology, which will restore the true interplay of light and shadow in photos.

Wi-Fi Features

• A recent test also reveals that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be compatible with Wi-Fi 7 technology, allowing faster speeds and higher bandwidth.
• The upcoming Wi-Fi 7 is expected to exceed the capabilities of its predecessors Wi-Fi 6 and 6E. It is expected to offer speeds that could be up to four times faster.
• Wi-Fi 7 improvements deliver superior video quality and better cloud gaming. According to reports, Wi-Fi 7 is ready to meet augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications, which require both high  transfer rates and minimal latency.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Specifications

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro features an enhanced 6.74-inch flexible OLED display designed with a BOE Q9 panel. The screen resolution is 1.5K and the refresh rate is 120Hz. In addition, the display includes a 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming function and is also certified for TUV Rheinland.

According to the company, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is confirmed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.  The phone has 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 flash memory.

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 150W SUPERVOOC technology that ensures a full charge in just 17 minutes.

Additionally, the phone comes with a GaN charging adapter that can handle 45W PD charging and offers two USB Type-C outputs.

When will the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro be released worldwide?

Although the Ace series is currently only sold in China, it is possible that it will make its way to other regions under a different name. As I recall, the OnePlus Ace 2 was released globally as the OnePlus 11R.
