OnePlus Ace 3: Did you know it is Set for Global Debut as OnePlus 12R

The OnePlus Ace 3 is likely to be released in China soon. Although the business has not confirmed any facts, various leaked details regarding the rumoured handset have surfaced online recently. The OnePlus Ace 3 model is also expected to be released globally as the OnePlus 12R, the successor to the OnePlus 11R phone. According to previous leaks, the OnePlus Ace 3 may have comparable display features to the OnePlus 12. A tipster now confirms some of the prior claims and offers colour options for the smartphone.

OnePlus Ace 3: Details

In a Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the OnePlus Ace 3 will have a 6.78-inch BOE X1 8T LTPO curved display with a resolution of 1.5K (2,780 x 1,264 pixels), global peak brightness of 1,600 nits, peak local brightness of 4,500 nits, and PWM dimming rate of 2,160Hz. Some of these details were also recommended earlier by the tipper.

He said the OnePlus Ace 3 will have a glass body with a metallic central frame. He hinted that the model would be available in three colours: blue, grey, and pink. Another tipster, Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), reported that the OnePlus Ace 3, which is expected to be released outside of China as the OnePlus 12R, will be available in green. This speculated global variation is supposed to have attributes identical to its Chinese equivalent.

The OnePlus Ace 3 will ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5,500mAh battery for 100W wired fast charging. The OnePlus Ace 3 device is expected to debut with Android 13 and up to 16GB of RAM.

According to other rumours, the OnePlus Ace 3 and its worldwide equivalent, the OnePlus 12R, would contain:

• A 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).
• An 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
• A 32-megapixel telephoto shooter at the rear.

It is reported to have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12 was unveiled earlier this month in China. The OnePlus 12 phone has a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixel) LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and a PWM dimming rate of 2,160Hz. OnePlus 12 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and comes with a 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
