The OnePlus Ace 3 is scheduled to be released in China soon. It is expected to be released globally as the OnePlus 12R and will be announced alongside the OnePlus 12 on 23 January. Details concerning the Ace 3, including the processor, battery, camera, and display specifications, have leaked online several times in recent weeks. The Ace 3 phone is projected to significantly improve over its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 2, released in February of this year. A rumour has it that the OnePlus Ace 3 will be released in the first week of 2024.

In a Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) stated that the OnePlus Ace 3 will most likely be released in China on 4 January 2024. Meanwhile, the global debut of the OnePlus 12R (Ace 3 in China) is scheduled for 24 January. He confirmed that the Ace 3 will have a metal frame and be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. It is said to have a 1.5K curved display and 100W wired quick charging.

OnePlus Ace 3: Expected Specifications

Recent leaks from the same informant and other sources have suggested several specifications of the OnePlus Ace 3. It is stated to have a 6.78-inch BOE X1 Oriental OLED LTPO panel with a 1.5K (2,780 x 1,264 pixel) resolution, a global peak brightness of 1,600 nits, a peak local brightness of 4,500 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 2,160Hz.

The OnePlus Ace 3 is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). OnePlus Ace 3 hasan 8-megapixel sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens at the back, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera sensor.
